Coastline Coasteering: Coasteering is the latest adrenaline sport to hit the UK.
£40 (Half Day)
Wearing a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and safety equipment, you’ll get to discover the coast
around Newquay and immerse yourself in the local sea life!
Newquay has a spectacular coast and the best way to explore it is from the sea: we’ll
take you right to the heart of the coastline and over the course of your session you’ll
explore caves, duck through coves, negotiate rock jumps, plunge pools and whirl pools.
CLICK THE CLIP BELOW, OUR HEAD COASTEER COACH BRENDAN EXPLAINS WHAT TO EXPECT.
The local wildlife will offer a few surprises: you’ll see plenty of sea and birdlife,
and may even catch up with dolphins or seals - or even spot a basking shark!
Our Coasteering mission will take you around cliffs, smugglers caves and some of Newquay’s
more secretive beaches. You’re guaranteed a real buzz as you traverse around narrow ledges
and, if you want a real rush, leap from the cliffs into the sea glistening far below.
Your Coasteering mission starts and ends at our centre, 100 yards from Fistral beach.
There will be at least two instructors with you throughout the experience, showing you
the best spots and ensuring that you are enjoying yourself in a safe environment!
Sessions last between two and three hours and you’ll be fully equipped with a wetsuit,
buoyancy aid, helmet and wetsuit boots.
Sessions include all equipment-wetsuit, bouyancy aid, helmet etc and are just
over 2.5 hours in length (Please bring an old pair of trainers to wear during the activity).
We run coasteering events with a minimum of 4 people in a group, and do not run any events during 'spring low tide' so please contact us using the enquiry form (right) or by phone for more information.

'The biggest rush I've had since biking down a mountain in the Alps.
We were still talking and buzzing about it the day afterwards.
A few cuts and bruises, but amazing fun'.

Second lieutenant Charlie Jones, Number 2 Company. 1st Battalion Irish Guards
"I took my platoon of 25 men coasteering for adventurous training, with none
of us having done it before. It was absolutely awesome and all the boys loved it.
The jumps were high enough to challenge the men, some had to take a bit of
time before making the final plunge.
Excellent fun and a great break from military exercises and guards.
The instructors were brilliant and made the day the success it was"
